¿What is rudraksha? ¿Where rudraksha comes from?
Rudraksha Seeds
Rudraksha is the seed found inside the Fruit of a tree. While some are grown in India, the vast majority are from Nepal and Indonesia. Rudraksha seeds, properly prepared and used, are deeply healing. They help achieve balance and essential health. Proper placement in the body connects the Rudraksha to your meridian fields and helps to quickly stabilize the energy of your Chakra system and energy body as well as your emotional, physical and spiritual bodies.
- Rudraksha is a seed that means "tears of Shiva" - Rudra (Vedic names for Shiva) and akṣa (tears) -
Each Rudraksha seed has natural grooves (called Mukhis) that create a sacred geometric energy specific to that seed. According to its number of mukhis (faces), each seed carries a very specific energy. By wearing Rudraksha, one can easily benefit the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. A simple, time-tested healing experience that offers a wide range of benefits.
Rudraksha Mala
Most mala contain 108 + 1 bead because 108 is a sacred number and an appropriate number of times to recite a short mantra. The extra bead, which is called "Meru", bindu or "guru bead", helps to mark the beginning and end of a 108 cycle and has a symbolic value as a "main" bead. The Om Namah Shivaya mantra is repeated ( japa ) using rudraksha beads. Hindus have used rudraksha beads as rosaries in Catholicism for meditation purposes and to sanctify the mind, body and soul.
On some bad specials this Extra account usually has five mukhi (faces) or more.
Real vs. False Rudraksha Seeds
How do you know if rudraksha seeds are original?
Today it is common for rudraksha seeds to be artificially manufactured. But there are some ways that you can use to confirm if the Rudraksha seeds are true.
1- You can cut the seed horizontally. If the inside has as many segments as faces on the outside it is real... and you have just destroyed a very rare and powerful seed.
2 - Another test is to place the seed in the water. The real Rudraksha seeds will sink into the water. The plastic imitations will float.
3- A safer option is to place the seed between two pieces of copper. A real Rudraksha seed will spin slightly due to its magnetic properties.
¿How to clean Rudraksha seed?
To maintain a Rudraksha it is recommended to clean it once every two or three months with a toothbrush in conjunction with neutral soap. After brushing, oil it with one or two drops of natural oil suitable for use on the skin (may be almond). Put the oil on the fingertips and proceed to oil it. Let it dry for a day as it can stain clothes.
Remember:
Although the positive health effects of using Rudraksha seeds and their energies have been demonstrated and documented, they can never replace medical advice.
If you have any doubts about your physical or mental health do not hesitate to consult your doctor, rudraksha seeds are only a supplement for your improvement.
